1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using QBossAI ("the Platform") at qbossai.com, you ("User") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.

QBossAI is operated by Ariel Alcantara, a Mexican individual taxpayer registered under the RESICO tax regime.

2. Description of Service

QBossAI provides an AI-powered study platform for CFA Level I exam preparation, including:

An adaptive question bank (QBank) with AI-generated practice questions
An AI coaching assistant with memory between sessions
Performance tracking, LOS coverage analysis, and estimated performance readiness indicators
Visual diagrams and explanations generated by artificial intelligence

Questions and explanations are AI-generated and are not official CFA Institute materials.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Platform.

4. Account Registration and Trial Period

4.1 Registration

To access the Platform, you must create an account with a valid email address and password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and all activity under your account.

4.2 Free Trial

New users receive a 7-day free trial with full access to all Platform features. No payment is required to start. After the trial expires, continued access requires a paid subscription.

4.3 Account Security

Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use at coach@qbossai.com.

5. Subscription Plans and Payments

5.1 Available Plans

Monthly Plan: Recurring monthly subscription, billed automatically each month.
Exam Date Plan: One-time payment providing access until your scheduled CFA exam date.
BossMode / PassShield Plan: One-time payment providing access until you pass the CFA Level I exam.

5.2 Payment Processing

All payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. QBossAI does not store your payment card information.

5.3 Refunds

We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee from the date of first payment. Submit requests to coach@qbossai.com.

6. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Important: AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies. Estimated performance readiness indicators are statistical approximations only — they are NOT predictions of actual exam results. Always verify concepts against official CFA Institute curriculum materials. QBossAI does not guarantee exam results or certification outcomes.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to copy, reproduce, or distribute Platform content; screen-scrape or use automated tools to extract questions; share account credentials; or use the Platform for commercial purposes without written consent.

8. Intellectual Property

All Platform content is protected by applicable intellectual property laws including Mexico's Ley Federal del Derecho de Autor. You receive a limited, non-exclusive license to use the Platform for personal exam preparation only.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. QBOSSAI DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

10. Limitation of Liability

QBOSSAI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU IN THE 3 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR USD $50, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Mexico (Estado de México). Disputes shall be resolved by the competent courts of Toluca, Estado de México.

12. Changes to Terms

We will notify registered users by email at least 15 days before material changes take effect.
